Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez is a Cuban-American television arbitrator who is featured on Caso Cerrado and Ana Polo Rules. Ana was born and raised in Havana, Cuba. Her move to Miami along with her family at age two after moving out of Havana. Ana Maria Polo, born in Habana Cuba was an anchor for the well-known Telemundo show "Caso Cerrado" it was the first Spanish programming to be awarded a Daytime Entertainment Emmy (r). In 2015, she was ranked as first for Spanish at 4pm for key demos. Polo, born on April 11th, 1959, in Havana Cuba was a graduate of Florida International University in Political Science. She then earned the PhD in law from the University of Miami. For twenty years, she practiced law in Miami. After that, she earned her PhD in Law from the University of Miami. Her legal skills were used on other court shows, and Telemundo Sala de Parejas 2001 in addition to the television show Sala de Parejas. Literary Works and Accolades In 1958, she wrote the novel Los Hijos Muertos (The dead children), with which she won the Critic's Prize and Spanish National Prize for Literature. Ana Maria Matute emigrated to the United States after leaving Spain in the year 1960. Polo, who is also a breast cancer patient and patient who has survived the disease is often quoted about her cause. Polo has been a vocal advocate for LGBT rights all throughout her life. She is a 1987 graduate from the University of Miami School of Law and a Florida Bar member.
