A woman who was ambitious was planning to launch a web series that would examine the gender roles in video games. Then, she found herself the target of a harassment online campaign. The harassment, however, did not deter her. This only helped her reputation as a feminist journalist. Sarkeesian has been awarded numerous awards in recognition of her many important contributions to the field of feministism.
