When she graduated from high school in 1964 she immediately moved to Nashville. Dumb Blonde, Something Fishy and Dumb Blonde both charted on Monument Records in 1967. Porter Wagoner began looking for new female vocalists for his TV show syndicated by a network at around the same at the same time. Parton joined RCA Records and then joined the Grand Ole Opry. Parton recorded "I will Always Be Loving You" to Wagoner soon after their split. The song was ranked the top spot at No. The first time in 1974.
