Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy (born April 16th 1996) was born in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor is a retired banker, and Jennifer Marina Joy is a psychology. His father is an Argentine who had Scottish and English heritage. Her mother has Spanish and English roots. Taylor-Joy is the youngest of five children. Four of them come from her father's previous marriage. They was at Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy was 6 years old, later moving to Victoria district of London. Taylor-Joy says the move into London was difficult and that she was unable to study English so that she could avoid returning to Argentina. Her school had to change between Northlands and then Hill House. Later she attended Queen's Gate School and studied ballet. When she reached the age of sixteen, Taylor-Joy resigned from the school to focus her full-time acting profession. Taylor-Joy always knew she wanted to work as an actor. Her dream was granted a chance by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management and was offered an opportunity as a model.
